Common feminine sensibility of the writer is considered in light of a female’s familiar spirit of humanity, like emotion, passion, compassion, culture, manner, behavior, sweet voice, cultural performances, etc.. In contrast, the particular feminine sensibility of women is included in the desired ability of the individuality in performing her actions on the terms and conditions of their own in search and formation of her own identity. The present paper aims to read and examine the feminine sensibility of Edith Wharton in her novel The House of Mirth.
