Abstract

Dualism primarily refers to mind-body dualism, property dualism, cosmological dualism, cybernetics dualism, epistemological dualism, ethical dualism, monism, and soul dualism. Mind-body dualism is a kind of philosophical view that holds mental phenomena of humans in which the mind and body are distinct and separable from one another. The present research paper tries to explore the dualistic nature of Conrad’s literariness in his novella, The Heart of Darkness.
